JobNab Christmas Open House

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

On Friday, December 17, JobNab will be having a Christmas Open House at our headquarters in Orlando, Florida.  All employees, their families, and select clients are invited to join us for Hors d’oeuvres and dinner.  The Open House will run from 12:30 PM to 7:00 PM, and will be held in our newly refurbished Optima Suite.  The Optima Suite features, among other things, plush couches, pool table, bar area, pictures from past company events, and tons of room for hanging out.

This will be a great opportunity to relax and mingle with fellow JobNabScouts in a fun and festive atmosphere.  Hope to see everyone there!

Holiday Angel Trees

The Holidays are here at JobNab.  We have been so fortunate this year connecting with JobNabScouts from all over the nation we figured it’s time to give back to our wonderful local community.

For those of you who don’t know, JobNab is located in Orlando, Florida, and we have a great in-house staff that enjoys a very close camaraderie.  This year, our JobNabScouts got together to adopt a Head Start Classroom here in Orlando of children aged three and four years old.  Head Start is a program of the United States Department of Health and Human Services that provides comprehensive education, health, nutrition, and parent involvement services to low-income children and their families.  For more information about the Head Start program, please go to http://www.nhsa.org/

Here’s how it works: We will have two Angel Trees that will have a paper angel representing each child in the Head Start Classroom and a gift they wish to receive. JobNabScouts can pledge the gift to the child by writing their name on their angel.  JobNabScouts will then purchase a new, unwrapped toy the child requested by December 15.  We will then deliver the presents to the children before they break for the Winter Holidays.

We are excited for this opportunity to give back and can’t wait to give the children their toys.  Stay tuned for more updates!
